FAQ

  • How do I send my films in?

Simply go down to your local post office and send your film to us in a plastic postage bag - NO paper envelopes…they don’t like water! Once we receive them, we will scan them, send you a download link via WeTransfer, and ship your negatives back (if you’re selected this option).

  • Can't find my email link?

Check the email you provided at time of ordering as well as junk folder for a message from filmprocessingaustralia@gmail.com

Be on the lookout from any emails from WeTransfer. If you’re still having issues, shoot us an email and we’ll lend a hand.

For all email enquiries please email info@filmprocessing.com.au

  • Do you offer prints?

At this time, we do not offer any print services. We are a digital only service. Our film processing specialist we keep on site, Sebastian, isn’t trained in printing. We don’t really want to train him, as offering prints would mean that we can no longer offer Australia’s cheapest film processing prices.

  • Black & White / E6 Films?

At this stage we have chosen to focus on exclusively on C41 Colour process films. However, if there is enough demand, we will look into expanding our services.

  • What happens if my film is blank?

If your film is blank, or exposed to light, we will refund the scanning portion of your order ($6 per roll). We will always contact you by email if this occurs.

  • Missing Images?

There are a number of reasons for missing images. Either the roll wasn’t fully finished, flash wasn’t fired correctly, or film may have been exposed to light between friends by opening the back door.

  • What happens to my negatives?

The default option is that your negatives will be sent back to you. However if you choose not to have them returned, we will discard them after you’ve downloaded your images, or after 3 months.
